Reflecting its own epigraph, Too Hot To Sleep is both ‘too much, and not enough’; too much in the way adolescence is - overwhelming, stimulating, dragging the reader’s attention through the chaos of teen culture - and not enough, because it would be impossible to have ‘enough’ of a collection so compelling.
